運動恆溫器可降低高性能引擎的冷卻液溫度，以最大限度地提高性能。
- 與標準節溫器相比，TRD 運動節溫器將閥門溫度降低約 10 至 15°C，
從而增加冷卻液循環並減少引擎熱量造成的性能瓶頸，從而發揮最佳引擎性能。 
（保持閥門溫度為 71°C。）
